About this scholarship
Residents of Thurston, Lewis, or Mason counties in Washington, or students who live in or attend high school in Elma or Montesano, may apply if they plan to study agricultural sustainability, organic farming or ranching, or sustainable ecosystems to benefit the South Puget Sound region.
Award amounts vary.
Submit an application and essay to Friends of the Olympia Farmers Market by April 30. The scholarship honors Robert J. Meyer, founder of an organic farm in Tenino, Washington, who mentored young farmers interested in sustainable agriculture.
