About this scholarship
Cumberland County, North Carolina high school seniors graduating the spring after the application deadline may apply if they have a weighted 3.5 or higher GPA, Pell Grant eligibility, and admission to a nonprofit four-year college or university as a full-time matriculating student.
Last-dollar-in renewable awards of up to $7,500 per year are available for up to four years.
Apply online by the deadline. Scoring gives equal weight to academic achievement, community service or work history, and financial need. The program was established through a gift from the estate of Robert H. Short.
