Applicants must have a four-year college degree or expect to obtain one by the end of the spring semester, and must have been accepted to law school or have an application pending. The program supports law students from minority groups historically underrepresented in the legal profession who show interest in practicing in the Peoria area.
Award amounts vary. Financial need is considered. Before funds are distributed, recipients must show admission to an accredited law school or, if already enrolled, successful completion of the first year.
Submit the application and personal statement; the committee may request transcripts and a telephone interview.
