About this scholarship
Graduating seniors at Highlands High School or St. Joseph High School who reside in the Highlands School District (Natrona Heights, PA), demonstrate financial need, and have been accepted into a math or science bachelor's program at an accredited four-year college or university may apply. Applicants must enroll as first-year students in the summer or fall term.
This is a two-year award in the $2,500 to $3,000 range per year (up to $3,000). Renewal after the freshman year requires evidence of academic success while remaining at the same school in the same major. Awards are paid by check to the institution for tuition, related fees, institution-provided room and board, books, and other mandatory educational expenses. Apply through the Allegheny Kiski Health Foundation with financial aid documentation, transcript, acceptance letter, and a short essay on interest in the major and personal character.
