About this scholarship

Graduating seniors at Highlands High School or St. Joseph High School who reside in the Highlands School District (Natrona Heights, PA), demonstrate financial need, and have been accepted into a humanities bachelor's program at an accredited four-year college or university may apply. Applicants must enroll as first-year students in the summer or fall term. Humanities fields may include art, archaeology, education, English, history, language, law, music, political science, philosophy, religion, and sociology.

This is a two-year award in the $2,500 to $3,000 range per year (up to $3,000). Renewal after the freshman year requires evidence of academic success while remaining at the same school in the same major. Apply through the Allegheny Kiski Health Foundation with proof of enrollment and residency as applicable, documentation of intended college enrollment and major, a financial aid letter, transcript, acceptance letter, and a short essay on interest in the major and personal character.
