About this scholarship
Undergraduate Environmental Studies and Science students at the University of Windsor in any year of study who will continue in the School of the Environment the following academic year may apply for the Robert A. Temple Environmental Experience Scholarship Fund. A student may receive this scholarship only once.
Scholarships of up to $4,000 CAD support relevant international or domestic experiential learning (such as internships, study abroad, service learning, exchanges, field schools, field camps, short courses, or conferences). Six awards are available. Candidates identify and secure placements subject to approval by the Director of the School of the Environment.
Applications to the School of the Environment include a cover page, a one-page letter of application, a résumé (maximum two pages), academic transcripts, and contact information for two references. After completing the placement, recipients submit an approximately five-page written reflection.
