Rise Foundation Scholarship

Chicago Public Schools high school seniors from single-parent households who plan to enroll in a 2- or 4-year degree program and attend Rise Foundation workshops may apply for the Rise Foundation Scholarship.

One $500 award for college expenses is granted. Applicants must attend 3 of 5 remaining Rise Foundation workshops (register for five) and submit a 500-word essay on their pandemic experience, adjustments to online learning, and changes in relationships with peers and family.

Submit the essay via the foundation's Google Form or email it as a PDF if needed.
