Richard H. Pierce Memorial Scholarship

Maine residents entering their first year of post-secondary education at an accredited two- or four-year college or university may apply for the Richard H. Pierce Memorial Scholarship from the MES Foundation.

Up to 20 awards of $5,000 are given based on merit, demonstrated financial need, and community service. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA and enroll in at least 12 credits per semester to renew for up to four years.

Submit two recommendation letters and a personal essay of at least 300 words. The scholarship honors MES founder Dick Pierce and his commitment to promoting higher education in Maine.
