About this scholarship
Female graduate students at accredited institutions conducting STEM research at Brookhaven National Laboratory may apply for the Renate W. Chasman Award. Candidates must not receive their graduate degree before May of the competition year.
Two awards of $3,400 are given. Winners present their research at a meeting hosted by Brookhaven Women in Science.
Submit a combined transcript and CV, personal statement, research description, and one professional reference letter. The award honors physicist Renate Chasman and her contributions to electron accelerator design.
