About this scholarship

Students registered in the UBC Forest Resources Management or Forest Operations program in good academic standing may be nominated for this award.

Awards totaling $1,000 are available annually from Western Forest Products in memory of Ray Robazza (1961-2016). Preference goes to students who graduated from secondary school in communities where Western Forest Products operates, or who have worked for or have a direct family member who works for the company. Consideration is also given to students with a passion for forestry who intend to pursue a career in the BC coastal forest industry.

Recipients are selected on faculty recommendation.
