About this scholarship
Graduate students at Canadian or international institutions whose research has an environmental focus or component may apply to conduct and report research at rare's site in Waterloo Region. Applications that use multiple knowledge systems and diverse methodologies are prioritized.
Up to seven awards are distributed annually: one $5,000 award, one $5,000 BIPOC award, and up to five $1,000 bursaries ($15,000 total). The rare Charitable Research Reserve partners with the Ages Foundation Fund on this program.
