About this scholarship
University of New Brunswick Fredericton undergraduates who write a deserving essay on Jewish history, literature, or contemporary affairs may receive the Rabbi David Spiro Essay Prize.
The prize is $500, funded by the congregation of the Sgoolai Israel Synagogue, and is awarded on recommendation of the Arts Council Committee on Honours and Prizes.
One prize is awarded annually.
