About this scholarship
Open to Alberta residents who are golfers aged 24 or younger and pursuing post-secondary education. The R.E. Courage Memorial Scholarship provides $1,000, with one award given annually.
Applicants must complete the scholarship application form, submit proof of enrollment and grade transcripts, provide two third-party reference letters, and include a personal statement. Recipients are selected based on academic performance, financial need, and community or volunteer involvement. The scholarship may be renewable for up to four years if recipients reapply and continue to meet the criteria.
The award honors Dick Courage of Calgary, a minor sports coach known for inspiring and motivating young players.
