About this scholarship
Domestic UTM-affiliated research-stream master's or doctoral students in Faculty of Arts and Science graduate programs may apply when supervised by a UTM faculty member in Anthropology, Biology, Chemical and Physical Sciences, Geography, Geomatics and Environment, Mathematical and Computational Sciences, or Psychology. Candidates need an overall A- average over the last two years of post-secondary study and should show research ability or potential, communication skills, and leadership. Preference goes to biotechnology or related fields at UTM, but all eligible research-stream students are considered.
The award is $5,000 per term for 2 or 3 consecutive terms.
Apply through the OGS online application and complete the UTM Expression of Interest Form by the campus deadline.
The Ontario government introduced the QEII-GSST in 1998 as a merit-based scholarship program in science and technology.
