Quan Family Music Educator Award

Bachelor of Education students at UBC's Vancouver campus are eligible for these awards. Awards totalling $2,450 are made to students who have demonstrated a passion and extraordinary capability for music education with youth in a group environment, with individual amounts varying. Candidates should have volunteer or extracurricular involvement in music education that includes band, choral, orchestra, or jazz ensembles at the secondary level, and preference is given to candidates with capacity across multiple musical fields. There is no separate application; the awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Education.
