About this scholarship
Boston University College of Communication and School of Public Health students may apply for a paid Pulitzer Center reporting fellowship at the intersection of journalism and global health. COM applicants should be graduate students or seniors; SPH graduate students are eligible.
Two fellows are selected each year, one from COM and one from SPH. Approximately $5,000 per fellow supports a 2-3 week domestic or international reporting trip for transportation, lodging, and related costs. Fellows receive Pulitzer Center mentorship and may publish work through the Center and partner outlets. Faculty from COM, SPH, and the Pulitzer Center review applications, prioritizing interest in both global health and journalism and prior international experience.
