About this scholarship
Law students at ABA-accredited schools who demonstrate contributions or a commitment to the Puerto Rican or Latinx community, financial hardship, and enrollment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants must also show a New York or New Jersey connection through residency, enrollment at an ABA-accredited New York or New Jersey law school, or a stated commitment to work in New York after graduation.
Awards of up to $10,000 toward legal education. Selection considers academic excellence, community involvement, commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, and financial need.

The Scholarship Fund was founded in 1978 by the Puerto Rican Bar Association to support deserving law students and promote diversity in the legal profession.
