About this scholarship

High school seniors from Minnesota who plan to pursue a bachelor's degree at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities may apply for this incoming first-year merit scholarship.

Recipients receive a $16,000 scholarship. Preference is given to students with strong academic achievement, leadership or community involvement, financial need, and potential to succeed at the college level.

The Puckett Scholarship was created to support Minnesota students attending the Twin Cities campus.
