PROSPER Academic Scholarship

Asylum seekers who are Maine residents, ineligible for federal financial aid, and planning to enroll in an accredited Maine community college, university, or trade school for an associate or bachelor's degree may apply. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Award amounts vary.

Submit proof of FAFSA ineligibility, a 250 to 500 word essay, two recommendation letters, a résumé, and a transcript.
