About this scholarship

High school and college students may compete in Project Yellow Light by creating a distracted-driving PSA as a 10- or 25-second video, billboard design, or radio spot. Separate high school and college categories apply.

Up to six scholarships are awarded, with video first-place winners receiving up to $8,000 and billboard and radio first-place winners receiving up to $2,000 each. Video and radio entries are due April 1; billboards are due March 1.

The competition, named for Hunter Garner, raises awareness about phone use behind the wheel.
