Project to Product Award in Computer Science

For undergraduate Computer Science students at UBC Vancouver who have demonstrated leadership, community engagement, or volunteerism. Preference is given to students from communities that have been historically, persistently, and systemically discriminated against.

Awards are available through an endowment established by Dr. Mik Kersten (B.Sc. 1999, Ph.D. 2007).

Made on the recommendation of the Department of Computer Science. Apply through the department awards application when open.

Dr. Kersten founded Tasktop from his doctoral work at UBC under Dr. Gail Murphy and later authored Project to Product, introducing a framework for measuring and managing software delivery.
