Professor Andrew Andy Mular Memorial Award in Mining Engineering

For outstanding Bachelor of Applied Science students majoring in Mining Engineering at UBC Vancouver who have demonstrated an interest in the mining industry and breadth in their interests through educational, extracurricular, or leadership activities.

Awards from an endowment; individual amounts vary. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering; no separate application is required.

The endowment was established by friends, family, and colleagues in memory of Professor Andrew Andy Mular (1930-2020), who joined UBC as a Professor of Mineral Process Engineering in 1972 and later served as department head.
