About this scholarship
Oregon resident first-year students with a minimum 3.85 high school GPA and a strong record of leadership and community service may apply separately for the University of Oregon Presidential Scholarship. About 50 incoming freshmen receive this competitive award each year.
Recipients receive $9,000 per year, split across fall, winter, and spring terms. Apply for admission by January 15 and submit the separate Presidential Scholarship application by February 2. The award renews with a 3.25 GPA and 12 credit hours per semester.
Presidential Scholarships are funded by donors to the University of Oregon scholarship fund.
