About this scholarship

Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) members who are college freshmen residing in the western half of the Synod of the Trinity (presbyteries of Beaver-Butler, Kiskiminetas, Lake Erie, Pittsburgh, Redstone, Shenango, Upper Ohio Valley, and Washington) and accepted for full-time study at a participating Presbyterian-related college may apply if they demonstrate financial need.

Participating schools include College of Wooster, Davis and Elkins, Grove City, Muskingum, Washington and Jefferson, Waynesburg, and Westminster. Approximately 28 students receive aid annually, and awards are renewable if eligibility requirements are met.

The Presbyterian Scholarship Fund was established in 1843 to support Presbyterian students at colleges in western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.
