About this scholarship
Dependents and eligible spouses of Alabama law enforcement officers, firefighters, or rescue squad members killed or totally disabled in the line of duty may receive this state grant for undergraduate study at public postsecondary institutions in Alabama.
The award covers full tuition, mandatory fees, books, and supplies. There is no cap on the amount awarded to individual recipients.
Obtain application forms from the Alabama Commission on Higher Education (ACHE) and submit the completed application with required documentation.
ACHE administers this program as part of its statewide student aid responsibilities for Alabama citizens.
