POLAR Northern Resident Scholarship

Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are long-term residents (minimum eight years) of Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Yukon, or the Provincial North (as defined by the Northern Boundary Map) may apply. Applicants must be registered in a graduate program at a Canadian university and engaged in research that culminates in a thesis or equivalent, including direct northern field research in Canada or the circumpolar North, with a contribution to the North and demonstrated leadership in northern scholarship.

The POLAR Northern Resident Scholarship is valued at $10,000. Apply through ACUNS with the posted guidelines.
