About this scholarship
Human Services majors (psychology, social work, nursing, public health, and related fields) who reside in or attend school in Pennsylvania, Georgia, the Washington DC metro area, or an HBCU may apply. Applicants need a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Up to 45 awards of $2,000 each are granted annually based on merit. Funds are sent directly to recipients' institutions via wire transfer.
Submit transcripts, two recommendations, a headshot, and a 500 to 1,000 word essay on the impact of Human Services on humanity, plus contact information for your institution's financial aid office.
The Preventive Measures Foundation supports mental health in historically underserved communities by enriching the Human Services workforce.

- Must be a full-time employee or contractor of Preventive Measures / PM Wellness Enterprise in good standing (no corrective action or suspension in last 6 months)
- Must reside in or attend college in PA, GA, or the Washington DC Metropolitan Area (DMV), OR attend a recognized HBCU
- Must have a letter of acceptance to an accredited degree program
- Letters of recommendation required
- Award: $2,000 to 45 selected applicants; selection based on academic performance, leadership, extracurricular/community activities, recommendation letters, and essay
