About this scholarship

Native American musicians who are incoming or current undergraduates at accredited U.S. colleges and enrolled members or descendants of federally or state-recognized tribes may apply for the Plimpton Foundation Native American Vocal Scholars Program.

Two scholarships of $1,000 each support students entering college to study voice in classical, musical theatre, contemporary, traditional, or interdisciplinary practices. Awards include access to mentorship and ongoing foundation support.

Complete the application between March 1 and May 1 with information on academic plans, vocal focus, and artistic materials demonstrating ability and goals.
