About this scholarship
High school seniors at Pittsburgh Public Schools or Allegheny County high schools that provide substantial National School Lunch Program free or reduced-price lunch aid may apply for Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation scholarships based on academic achievement, community service, and school participation.
Up to ten recipients each receive $3,000 for the first year of college. An additional $2,000 may be awarded for year two with a 3.0 GPA and at least 24 credit hours earned.
Apply by May 1 through the Foundation's education scholarship process.
