About this scholarship
Graduating seniors or graduates of public, private, or homeschool high schools in Lancaster County, Nebraska, who plan to study music or the arts in college may apply for the PINC (Poverty Is Not a Choice) Scholarship.
One $3,000 award is offered, with potential renewal through reapplication. Preference goes to homeschool students and prior PINC recipients who maintained a 2.5 or higher college GPA.
Applicants must demonstrate extreme financial need and a record of participation in music or the arts. Submit supplemental essays through the Lincoln Community Foundation application portal by March 15.
