About this scholarship
Legal U.S. residents (and Canadian citizen apprentices in approved programs) pursuing plumbing-heating-cooling careers may apply. Eligible paths include PHCC-approved apprentice programs with a PHCC member contractor employer, related majors at accredited two-year or four-year schools, and approved business, CAD, construction management, or mechanical engineering programs.
The Foundation awards roughly 65 scholarships annually, ranging from $1,500 to $10,000, with most at $3,000. A maximum of four employees from any one employer may win in a given year.
Apprentices working for PHCC members need a letter of recommendation from the business owner or manager and answers to five background questions. Apply at phccfoundation.org by May 1.
