About this scholarship
British Columbia former permanent wards or continuing-custody youth (until age 19) who are at least 19, high school graduates, and enrolled or planning post-secondary study may apply.
Annual bursaries cover funding shortfalls for tuition, books, maintenance, or transportation up to $4,500 and are not intended as your sole support. Apply by April 15.
The Public Guardian and Trustee Educational Assistance Fund was established in 1989 from private benefactor donations to help former wards pursue academic or vocational goals.
