About this scholarship
Self-identified 2SLGBTQIA+ students in the Greater Sacramento region, including El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, Yuba, San Joaquin, Amador, or Calaveras counties, may apply if they have at least a 2.5 GPA, plan to enroll in accredited higher education, and demonstrate service to the LGBTQ+ community.
Two scholarships are awarded annually. The structured award amount is $3,500; final amounts are announced before winners are selected.
Submit a transcript, a non-relative recommendation letter confirming LGBTQ+ status and community involvement, an essay on "My Vision for the LGBTQ+ Community," and a resume or activity list. Finalists confirm college acceptance by email.
