Pew Latin American Fellows Program in the Biomedical Sciences

Scientists from Latin America with a Ph.D. and/or M.D. earned within the past six years who secure a postdoctoral position with a U.S. principal-investigator sponsor before applying may seek the Pew Latin American Fellows Program in the Biomedical Sciences. Pew provides a $30,000-per-year stipend supplement for two years of U.S. postdoctoral training; fellows who return to Latin America and establish labs receive additional startup funds.

Ten fellows are selected for each class. The application typically opens in early summer.
