Peter Scott Scholarship in Geography

Open to graduate students in the Department of Geography at UBC Vancouver who are studying hydrology or fluvial geomorphology. Scholarships totalling $2,000 are made available annually; individual award values vary. There is no student application; the awards are made on the recommendation of the Department of Geography, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

The scholarship was established by Peter Scott (B.A. 1989, B.Ed. 1992) and Karen Kruse to honour Peter's lifelong experience with geography as a student, teacher and world traveller, and to support students studying water systems and landscape formation.
