Peter Elzinga Family Foundation Scholarships

Alberta residents enrolled in a qualifying program at a qualified Alberta school who demonstrate financial need that limits their ability to study. Preference goes to more mature students pursuing further education, including retraining, skills upgrading, or a career change. Awards consider financial need, community involvement, and leadership; academic achievement beyond program entrance or continuation requirements is not required.

Up to five awards of about $1,000 are available. Apply through Edmonton Community Foundation Hilltop Awards and Bursaries.

The Peter Elzinga Family Foundation created the fund to promote education and continued learning; ECF has managed applications since 2023.
