About this scholarship
Pennsylvania residents age 25 or younger who are children of qualifying public safety members or military personnel who died in the line of duty (after January 1, 1976 for National Guard, police, firefighter, rescue/ambulance, or corrections employees; or on September 11, 2001 for National Guard, sheriff, deputy sheriff, or military duty) may apply. Recipients must enroll at an eligible Pennsylvania public college or university.
The program waives remaining tuition, fees, room, and board after other gift aid. The award is renewable.
Complete the FAFSA, Pennsylvania State Grant application, and PEGP application with required documents such as a certified birth certificate and college admission letter.
