About this scholarship
New first-year baccalaureate students at Penn State's 20 undergraduate campuses (excluding World Campus) are automatically considered for the Provost Award. Both Pennsylvania and non-Pennsylvania residents are eligible. Students do not have to apply separately for the award.
Award amounts vary. During enrollment, recipients must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA and complete at least 24 credits per year. Penn State recommends submitting a FAFSA, though it is not required for Provost Award eligibility. The number of recipients varies.
Be offered admission as a new undergraduate first-year student at an eligible campus; consideration is automatic.
