About this scholarship
Current or incoming U.S. undergraduate students age 27 or younger who are young activists working on social or health justice, including HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+ equality, racial justice, and public health, may apply to the National AIDS Memorial.
Awards of $5,000 are offered. Recipient count varies by cycle.
Applicants submit an online application with proof of enrollment or acceptance and a short video of no more than five minutes introducing themselves and their justice work. The scholarship is not limited to HIV/AIDS activism.
The fund honors Pedro Zamora and supports changemakers carrying forward his legacy of health and social justice.
