About this scholarship
Miami-Dade County high school seniors graduating by August 1 who are directly or indirectly impacted by gun violence and plan to enroll at an accredited college or university may apply through the Office of Neighborhood Safety.
Seventy-five awards of $2,500 each are paid directly to institutions after required documentation is verified.
Submit one complete application. Selected students must provide proof of residency, a final transcript, proof of college acceptance, and an official class schedule within 10 days of notification.
This scholarship is part of Miami-Dade County's Community Violence Intervention Initiative supporting college-bound youth affected by gun violence.
