About this scholarship

U.S. students ages 17 through 23 in their final year of secondary school, recent high school graduates not yet enrolled in a program, or students taking at least 6 credit hours at an accredited postsecondary institution who demonstrate outstanding commitment to the LGBTQ+ community may apply.

Annual awards of $1,000 are offered. Recipient count varies.

Selection weighs LGBTQ+ community involvement first, along with financial need, academic and personal achievement, and future community plans. Applicants must identify as LGBTQ+ or as an ally. Complete the Google Forms application on the sponsor website.

The Paula Ford-Martin Memorial Fund honors young champions for LGBTQIA+ equality.
