Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Support Award

Women age 17 or older who are mothers of children under 18, meet low-income HHS poverty guidelines, and are enrolled full-time in a progressive postsecondary program at a nonprofit accredited U.S. institution may apply.

Five awards of up to $5,000 each are disbursed in two semester installments and may be used for tuition or living expenses while enrolled.

Apply with enrollment information, financial and household details, references, short answers, and a personal essay. Selection weighs financial need, personal circumstances, educational path, and vocational or civic goals. The foundation honors Patsy Takemoto Mink's commitment to educational access for low-income women and mothers.
