About this scholarship
High school seniors, current community college students, or returning adults enrolling in an accredited career or vocational certificate or degree program at Canada, College of San Mateo, De Anza, Foothill, or Skyline College in Santa Clara or San Mateo Counties may apply. Minimum six units required.
Need-based awards range from $1,000 to $3,000, with up to 10 scholarships available. Programs must lead directly to employment, not transfer or graduate study.
Email the application and one instructor recommendation to parscholarship@gmail.com by March 20.
The Rotary Club of Palo Alto supports students pursuing vocational training in fields such as automotive technology, dental hygiene, and medical assisting.

- Submit one instructor recommendation.
- Submit the required personal statement (maximum 500 words).
- One letter of recommendation, preferably from a current or former instructor (submitted by email to parscholarship@gmail.com or by mail)
- Completed application form (mailed or emailed as attachment)
- Eligibility limited to community college students pursuing a vocational program degree or certification at Cañada College, College of San Mateo, De Anza College, Foothill College, or Skyline College
- List of all high schools/colleges attended with degree/certificate, dates, and GPA
- Supplemental financial information (monthly income/expenses, financial need details)
- List of current memberships, activities, and involvements
- Programs intended for transfer or graduate study are not eligible.
- Application and instructor recommendation must be emailed to parscholarship@gmail.com by March 20.
