Pacific Gas & Electric Company Black ERG Scholarship

High school seniors or current undergraduate students who reside in PG&E's California service territory as a customer for at least six months and plan to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university may apply.

The Black ERG awards scholarships of $5,000 to students who have shown commitment to the Black community. All majors are eligible; STEM, business, environmental, or energy-related emphasis is encouraged. Scholarships have no race or gender requirements.

Apply through the PG&E ERG online portal with a general application, two recommendations, transcripts, and a Black ERG supplemental essay.

The Black ERG supports African American culture through career development, mentoring, and community outreach at PG&E.
