About this scholarship
U.S. or Finnish citizens pursuing cross-cultural legal studies may apply through Finlandia Foundation National. Finnish law students seeking U.S. ABA-approved law schools, or U.S. law students seeking Finnish university law faculties, are eligible after at least one year of law study.
Individual awards range from $1,000 to $3,000, with the number of scholarships varying each year based on available funds.
Complete the Finlandia Foundation National application with supporting documents such as transcripts, proof of enrollment, and a personal statement. Submit materials by February 1.
The Pertti Lindfors Legal Studies Fund was established by Finnish-American attorney Pertti Lindfors to promote cross-cultural understanding between law students in Finland and the United States.
