Outstanding Scholars Award

University of Windsor high-school applicants entering first-year full-time honours programs (including Concurrent Education) with at least 85% on their top six Grade 12 U/M courses may apply as Outstanding Scholars Candidates. Up to 100 first-year Candidates are selected each year.

First-year Candidates receive $750 per semester ($1,500 across fall and winter) while completing mentorship, research-methods training, and program activities. Apply through UWinsite Student via the Student Awards Profile. To keep the award, remain in a minimum 60% course load in fall and winter and attend required meetings and activities.

Candidates in good standing may later compete for the full Outstanding Scholars program with paid research placements in years two through four.
