About this scholarship
LGBTQ+ undergraduate students with at least two years of post-high school credit, a minimum 2.75 GPA, and a declared STEM or STEM-teaching major may apply. Graduate students are not eligible.
Multiple scholarships of up to $2,500 are funded by donors including the Motorola Solutions Foundation. Awards are paid directly to the recipient's university for tuition, fees, books, or study materials.
Apply through the scholarship application form with a personal statement on your commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion in STEM and two references, including one faculty member.
Established in 2011, Out to Innovate scholarships promote academic excellence and visibility of talented LGBTQ+ students in STEM careers.
