About this scholarship
Incoming first-time freshmen at the University of Kentucky with at least a 3.8 GPA (or 4.0 for test-optional review) and, if scores are submitted, at least a 33 ACT or 1450 SAT may be considered for the Otis A. Singletary Scholarship when a complete admission file is received by December 1. The award is open to Kentucky residents and nonresidents. Combined (super-scored) test scores are not considered.
The scholarship covers full tuition plus a housing stipend for the first two years. Nonresident packages have been described as full out-of-state tuition plus a $10,000-per-year housing stipend for on-campus residence during those first two years. Students may receive only one of the listed UK academic scholarship awards.
Complete the admission application and supporting documents by December 1; competitive selection applies.
