About this scholarship

For promising UBC Vancouver Occupational Therapy students who need support for travel and accommodation during fieldwork in remote or distant communities, including placements on Vancouver Island, in Northern or Interior British Columbia, or internationally.

Award funding from an endowment is offered on the recommendation of the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. Candidates must apply in writing to the department.

The endowment was established by Marilyn Ernest-Conibear, UBC alumna (B.S.R. 1969, M.A. in Adult Education 1972) and Professor Emeritus of the University of Western Ontario.
