About this scholarship

Oregon high school seniors or current college students planning to pursue a law enforcement career at a community college or four-year institution may apply.

Up to eight scholarships of $2,000 are awarded annually by the Oregon State Sheriff's Association.

Submit the OSSA application, a three-page essay on law enforcement challenges, transcripts, SAT/ACT scores (if required by your school), and an acceptance letter (high school seniors only) by April 1. Finalists may be asked to interview with the scholarship committee.
